Yeah, hi! My name is Twig. I'm not all that interesting, but I shall talk about myself anyway.

REAL LIFE
I live in Michigan--the LP. I'm fifteen, going to a small alternative high school. I spend a lot of time writing, I'm on the school Mock Trial team and I have a more-than-full schedule, which keeps me busy. I also ride horses and bowl, and play the piano. I am a huge Harry Potter fan. I like hats and ramen noodle soup, and I'm kinda type A about my grades.
Uh, literally.

FANTASY
I started roleplaying with my younger sister, verbally. My two 'main' characters--Evan and Alexis--originated in that game, but they mostly hang around my friends' characters now. These friends roleplay verbally, too, which rocks. I started internet roleplaying on neo (of course!) and then eventually expanded to forums as well. Most of my guilds and forums have died, however the first guild I ever joined is still alive and has evolved, like Ember, to a forum. You can find our link in the advertisements somewhere.

The horse I leased switched to a different barn, a million miles from me (give or take a few). Which made me very sad. =( So now I just show up and find out on the spot who I'll be riding.

Aww, that is sad! D: Many years ago, I can't remember how many, my favorite horse passed away because of some very bad allergies. It was very saddening..

So now you don't even know who you're going to ride? That's somewhat nerve racking.. but exciting!

I hope you don't mind horsey questions. I LOVE THEM. Ask as many as you can think up to me. XD How long have you been riding, and what style? :3

Of course I don't mind! My friends get tired of how often I talk about horses.

That's really terrible--I've known horses that have died, but I've never been extremely close to them. D=

And yeah, I get in and check the little chart on the wall and it tells me what I'm doing that day.
I used to ride like that all the time, but now after being used to riding the same horse--or at least almost always the same horse--it's kinda weird. Makes you a better rider, though, I think.

I ride English, and I love to jump, but I don't really go to shows. And I've been doing it since I was.. nine? That'll make seven years. Though I used to not ride in the winter (my old barn didn't have an indoor ring, lawlz), and then I ended up missing a summer because I broke my arm and leg, so it's been kind of on-and-off.

How about you? Do you own a horse? I could probably read your own thread for this, but I'm not going to. What's ze like, and what do you ride?

Anyways! I ride English too, also love to jump, and also don't go to shows. They are stressful and long for me, but I don't mind helping out at them. ^^ I do not own/lease until I can pay for the WHOLE THING.. which will probably be a lot later in life, sadly.. XD But I'm hoping to get a job at the barn soon and start saving. -rubs hands together-

And er.. my thread.. ABOUT THAT.. I haven't really started it yet. I really should update it soon... I shall. Not to worry. ;D

I've been riding since I was around 6, which is.. 8 years? But the first two was just summer camp at a stable I really hated, then I switched to my barn. Which does have an indoor ring, thankfully. That would really suck if not- it gets super cold in NY. Like right now. *shivers*

Michigan's freezing this time of year too. And for most of the other months.
lol, my grandparents come in from the Carolinas and they're complaining the WHOLE FREAKING TIME about being cold. I'm like 'get over it, please.'
Not that I'm in love with the weather either, but at least I'm warm-blooded.

Yeah, if I end up doing something equine as a profession (which I don't think I will, but I can't see myself as pretty much anything else), I think I'd be training horses, because that's
really what I do best. Like, I can't jump super high--not high enough to actually go anywhere with them. And dressage really isn't my thing, and I wouldn't be interested in just being a vet or a barn manager. I'm really picky about what I could do my whole life without getting bored.
But I think training them, or rehabilitating them, would be fun.

Oh, heh. Speaking of life plans. My friend and I have decided that we're going to walk across the United States when we get out of college, and we're both really serious about it. And while we go, we're going to write a book about it, and then we'll get that published. And we have an extensive plan regarding where we'll go after that.. it'll be fun. You'll hear of us when the time comes--we'll be famous. ;D

Any language I do not know is called Jibberish in my world. And all I know is the language, of English. :3

I mean, I know a few Spanish words, but I am taking spanish next year too, so that should work out well.

Yay! Spanish is fun.
Me and my friend talk in Spanish to each other, and people don't understand us, so it's like we're speaking in code.
Except, 'to each other' usually consists of her talking in Spanish and me nodding.
