N a m e: Larkpaw, for now. She will be attaining her full medicine cat name when her mentor sees fit. When she was younger, however, she was known simply as Lark, as she was given the chance to join Lakeclan when she and her parents were loners.
G e n d e r: She-cat, and she presents herself as such. She likes to think she is a lady more than anything, behaving so that others can see her as one.
A g e: Larkpaw is only seven and a half moons old, plenty of her medicine cat training left to be completed. She probably will not gain her real name until far into her teen moons, considering that her training will take longer than the average apprentice.
C l a n: Lakeclan is where she has been raised since she was young, though it was not her birth place. She was taken in along with her parents, and she is glad that they allowed her family such an opportunity.
R a n k: Medicine cat apprentice, at least for now. There will come a time that her training will be a thing of the past and she will lead the medical industry of her Clan by herself, young or old mentor now retired or dead.
I m a g e: as a lady should be
F a m i l y: Her mother is Tawnyflower, a simple tabby she-cat with a brilliant smile. She doesn't know if she could love someone more than her mother, not that she'll have to, being a medicine cat apprentice and all. Tawnyflower was once Tammy, the loner.
Her father is Birchleaf, a massive brown and white tabby tom with a joking personality. He is well-spirited and constantly cracking jokes that no one finds particularly funny. But, he is her father, so she takes some joy in having him at all. Birchleaf was once Bron the loner.
She was born the single living children in her parent's litter, sadly. The other were not strong enough to continue in the living conditions that they were forced under. That is why Tawnyflower and Birchleaf want her to have the best life she can.
M a t e: Larkpaw will not be allowing someone to achieve the status of mate in her life for a single reason: no one is good for her. A little side one is that she is to be a medicine cat and that just wouldn't work out, would it?
K i t s: Sadly enough, Larkpaw will not be getting to give kittens to the Clan that has taken her in. It is because of her status that she is not allowed this opportunity.

Seeing as she was not born in Lakeclan she cannot have a Starclan-granted companion. She sometimes envies those who do have them, annoyed that she cannot be given someone to always have beside her and to comfort her.

The blood that she received from her loner roots is what makes her into what she appears today. They family must've been a long root of small, flighty women and men, for that is how Larkpaw appears to look. Her mother has nearly the same frame, perhaps a big more thick boned, but her father looks completely opposite of her. Rather, Birchleaf is a giant compared to his daughter and wife. Larkpaw had never encountered anyone that was her kin besides her mother and her father, but she learned that she looked almost exactly a like to the now missing aunt she had never met, except that that woman had dark green eyes and a heavier coat. She wonders sometimes if she had children, would her son look more like her father or her?
Her structure is that of a thin-boned, picky she-cat (which describes her better than anything). She appears to be fragile with her skinny legs and tiny oval paws. However, she has some strength to her. This is not in muscle, for she appears to own none of that, much less any actual meat. Perhaps her greatest strength is her defensive movements which are so capable because she has this frail body of her's. She often looks like easy prey, her thin shoulders huddled into her body and her skimpy tail curl around one of her hind-legs, but when one would go to attack her she'd flee on spot with such a speed it was strange. Her light bones allow her such a gift, though it is not like she is soaring through the air like the avians. She is good for twisting around, flexibility of a feline a charm, and avoiding injury through cheap moves.
Larkpaw has a very narrow, stiff face. The way that it is made it almost looks like her eyes are too big for her, the same with her large and twitching ears. She always seems to be giving the one-eyebrow-raised look, as if curious about everything that she encounters. She has a small, pink nose which is often scrunched up in thought.
The girl takes pride in her appearance as every young one does at some time, enjoying a good groom or admiring it herself. The colors that make her up as simple, a light tabby brown and clean whites. The tabbied pattern appears on her forehead, where the traditional m seems to be cut off at the middle, along with her back and flanks. There is a strange patch of it on her right paw, which is angled on the side. The rest of her her, lower face, chest, belly, front legs, and inner and lower hind-legs are the bright white. She has a very short and thin coat, which is inconvenient for her during all of the seasons, seeing as it only gets a tad denser as the weather rides in colder.
Larkpaw has dark flecked yellow eyes. The layers appear to be more of a emerald color, especially near the center of her iris. They are mostly that light daisy, just threaded with heavier layers to give her a more interesting appearance. Her eyes darken a bit in winter, like her coat.
P e r s o n a l i t y:
Larkpaw's goal is to be perceived as a 'lady', no ifs, ands, or buts about it. She tries her best to act as such, to make sure that others can view her more easily as one. She often looks kind of ridiculous, pawing around camp with her head held high and elongating her steps to make them appear more graceful. She speaks, usually only to other apprentices or kits, in a holier-than-thou tone of voice, speaking of herself as though she was the greatest thing to come to the Clan since fresh-kill. Sadly, this might have the opposite affect. Though she does not know, others might see this as something negative about her personality, which is plausible.
From her attempt at being a lady Larkpaw is often snobby, which appears both in her speech, her thoughts and therefore her actions. She will easily talk as though she knows everything, and present these special things to others to show them that she is better than them, at least to her. She does not take into consideration what other's do. She views their actions and then rips on them, saying that they weren't as good, or they could definitely been pulled off better if she had done it. This way of mind doesn't get her many friends, but there has to be just someone who kicks her out of it.
However, there is some humanity to Larkpaw. She often has feelings of regret after making fun of someone. She will attempt to repress the feelings for as long as she can before she explodes outwardly, expressing them though sick feelings in her stomach and aching limbs despite the fact that she had done no exercise the day before, or even hours before. It just affects her physically more than emotionally, though sometimes during these moments she will act as though she is in pain.
Sometimes, when there is a need for it, the young girl will actually be gentle[/i[. Why is this strange? She is a medicine cat after all, shouldn't she have some sort of mercy thing going on. She does, its just cloaked beneath her superficial 'lady' behavior. This side of her usually is surfaced when someone is injured, no longer able to keep up the anger or I'm-better-than you face. She tries her best to help and understand a patient rather than ridicule them for their mistake on getting injured. Even the most experienced warriors make errors at times, but she never reprimands someone for having a thorn in their pad. She just gently works with them, speaking in a soft tone that couldn't possibly come from someone who was normally so cruel. This seems too fade, though, once they are better. Then she will say things that are stupid and unnecessary.
The girl is full of family value, taking her parents and their problems above everyone else, including herself. She enjoys spending time with them whenever it is possible, seeing as though she just can't keep them out of her life. They were the ones that gave her the chance to live and also the only felines that she knew for the first portion of her time in the world. She is dependent of them for their love and support, probably incapable of pushing herself through the task of being a medicine cat apprentice without them. This being said, she will never make fun of a cat for loving their family or hurt the image of their family members. She understands completely just how wonderful a good family life can be.
H i s t o r y:
There is nothing special about Larkpaw's history to this date that should be expanded upon.
O v e r a l l:
Larkpaw is a seven-and-a-half moon year old tabby she-cat who is not exactly the best one to hang along with. Her tongue is a ready weapon, even if her appearance gives off the stench of weakness. She hardly ever has a smile on her face, except for when her parents are around to keep her company. Her studies to become a medicine cat, keeping along with the training that is provided to her by her mentor. She looks forward to making the position, seeing as it is the only thing that she can succeed in, or so she believes.
