January Updates.

Hey Undying Ember! Swifteh here. I promised updates and updates you will have, though it’s not what you were expecting no doubt.

Undying Ember has been around a long time, starting back in January of last year as a neopian guild. I joined in March, after it had established itself as one of the more popular and literate ones, though really, I stumbled on it by accident. I hadn’t heard of it before (Shhh, don’t tell anybody!). Back then it was run by a trio of friends called Songeh, Moon and Stormy (Songeh-luff, Moonleh-chan, Stromy-sensai). It was a one clan guild with no StarClan or OtherClan, sticking with HorizonClan and the RRG. When Song was banned from neopets, the members scrambled to keep her, so the proboards was made.

When I took this place on as admin with Moon, I definitely wasn’t ready for it all. I struggled to keep up with the fast pace and different fads, and just the overall effort required for a forum, but I didn’t realise it would be so hard. It was fun for the first month or so, but not beyond that.

People who have been here since the beginning or even just a month or two have probably noticed I rarely stay around for long and if I do, it’s not to chat. I’m a very bad admin. Very inactive and don’t update much. Don’t even roleplay: my muse disappeared quite a while ago. In short, I’m not fit to run this forum and that’s just what’s going to happen. I’ve tried to stay and update, but my heart just isn’t in it anymore.

There are plenty reasons for it, and not just for my inactivity. You have to admit that Warriors is a little more on the childish side, despite the violence and seeming soap opera. My interests are moving elsewhere. I’m busy with my life. I have to start thinking about college or university. I’m also going to directing a short film here in the next month, so Pre-Production is well on its way (which, I tell you, is extremely stressful ). I’m putting more and more time in staying at the TV Studio at my school. My roleplay muse is gone. ETC., ETC. I don’t need to bore you that long.

Moonleh, one of your admins, is going to take over as the only admin with a moderator at her side. Take a guess who! I’m not revealing the surprise. It’s not my place anymore. Respect them both, please, and try to keep this forum alive. I do love Undying to bits, but like I said, my heart just isn’t truly into it. Roleplaying isn’t my forte anymore. Filming ftw!

As for the plot issue, my vote is to get rid of it and introduce a new clan called LakeClan. This would create a brand-new plot in itself as they fight for the right of their territory and HorizonClan deals with the newcomers invading their land. Sound good? Yep? Yep. Mkay, problem solved. XD Kidding. That’s just my opinion as one lowly member!

I never knew you as well as most of the rest of UE, saying I wasn't in the Neo guild, but I still want to wish you good luck with filming, college, and whatever else comes your way. Just pop in UE for a visit once in a while, won't you?

Oh my gosh.
Swifteh, I don't know you well, but from what I've seen you're not a bad admin at all. You're actually a very good admin, and being honest with the members here proves it. <3 Good luck with your filming!
