Well... here the thing. I am in several guilds on neo, but all of them arnt exactly literate to say. Maybe one of the people are as literate as I am, but thats it.
And around them, I don't find the energy to post my usual posts, I mean I think what is the point if I am the only one doing it? I have been told by a person or two to leave the guild because they were tired of reading my several posts, and the discriptions... It really hurt me. I try to be literate, but I think this is why I am not as literate as I want to be.
But some of the people on the guilds, count on me to be there, I own a guild, it ain't going to great, but the people that joined are people I have know for a long time and I have not the guts to kick them out, or leave their guilds.
What should I do?

Well, I think you should talk to your friends and let them why you want to leave, maybe find a good co-owner to help you out with your guild and tell the people who are asking you to leave because of your posts to kiss off, because obviously they aren't family material. A guild is supposed to be a family and not judge based on their posts, but by their overall personality.
To up literacy try some onexone on the roleplay boards. Or lurk around literate boards. [/size][/font][/color] |

Kidding, kidding, though that would be awesome. xD Sounds like you're in quite a dilemma and I sympathize entirely, though I do have to point our, your first priority is not to please them, but yourself. If you're having fun with them, then that's great, but maybe you should only do so to chat with instead of roleplaying. Roleplaying is great in between friends, but it's also a creative medium for people to express themselves, and if you're being told that you can't do so, then it may be best to leave even if it's hard. Creativity should never be suffocated because it's a true representation of the soul, and for a lot of people, the only source of letting out pent-up emotions. In the end it is your choice, but you have to make one based on what will make you happy, and not your best friend.

Yeah, the poeple who said that I dont really like being around, but I dotn own the guild, and well... yeah, I cant exactly d4eleate them becasue it is one of the co-ownines friends in real life.
And yeah, that makes a lot of sense, I just dont want to hurt their feelings though... Do you think I will hurt their feelings if I tell them?

Of course you will. How would you feel if someone told you that they couldn't be in the guild because you were too illiterate? However if they're a good friend, they will either understand or stop nagging at you. It's a hard thing to do, trust me I know, but sometimes it needs to be done for the better. You can still chat with them, can you not? Just steer away from the roleplay.

Yeah, you are very right swifteh...
What do you think also of the idea of me leaving neo?
I mean, I know it has viruses, and that is another way to prove to my parents that this is better then neo by not getting viruses anymore from it. I can be more active here I get to roleplay more literatly, and I wouldnt be banned form here so I will never have to leave my UE family...
I get to talk to a few of them over DA, and maybe though the webbies...
What do you think of this idea? (sorry, I like to get others input on these things0

As for leaving Neo, As long as I still get to roleplay/chat ith you, it really doesn't affect me that much and as for roleplaying/posting I love this board more.

Yeah, it seems so much more organized, and I never have t worry about neo rules.
I think it will work... I guess I should go and do it quik... so I dont have to go through really long sad goodbyes...
(Just so you know, I may miss them, but I would you all more then anyone if I had to leave you all, I think this might work)

Again, it's your choice. xD -refuses to gives a definite opinion- Think over all the pros and cons before you do however; think of the friends you would leave behind and the easy, safeness of neo. Even all the things you can do, such as games and the stock market. Here there is less to do, but you are also with the UE family and helping develop your literacy. There is also the point of proving to your mom that this place is also safe. Yes there is more opportunity to swear or roleplay PG13 things (because we won't allow things above that), but it's still safe. Here is also more roleplay based, rather than chat, as most guilds are. Different forums also makes things easier to keep track of a certain roleplay, and there is also the ability to be creative with your signature and avvie.

I never played the games, never really used anything other then roleaply and friends, and now that I think about it, the closest people to me on neo I can chat with on DA.
I think it is worth it. (wow... this is probably something I could have figured out on my own, guess I just needed my lufflie friends to jumpstart my thinking powahs. :3)

I actually just told my mom I found a site that was more toward the roleplaying that I was looking for, with less viruses.
She just told me to be careful and have fun.
It was weird, one minute she was all blehy on me, then next she was fine.
