C o m p a n i o n:
Flint is a Red-Bellied Woodpecker. He has, as expected, a crimson colored stomach, as well as a bright red head. The rest of his front is cream colored, soft and warm. His back and wings, however, are a striking black, with white stripes zig-zaging in between his feathers. Flint is rather short and stout, more fluffy than plump.

Kestrelkit thinks of himself as normal and boring, not at all special or handsome, though many cats could disagree. The tom has a lush, full pelt- thin as it is- in smooth brown and black shades. His muzzle and up by his eyes is cream colored, blending quite nicely with the rest of his pelt and his eyes. Ah, yes, his eyes. They are a cool green, often locking the cat he's with into a long gaze. He doesn't seem to notice, however, since he's moving around all the time.
He is large for his age, but not by a lot. This makes him slightly larger than his sister, which is one of the only ways you can distinguish them by. His legs are long and lanky, as well as his body and tail. He trips over his own paws a lot, and hates it.
His clumsiness doesn't stop him from running around all the time, like mentioned earlier. It's amazing his sister can keep up as much as she does, but she manages to do it. Kestrelkit never runs out of energy, though at night he sleeps without waking up most of the time- not a big surprise.
P e r s o n a l i t y:
Kestrelkit is often described as an energetic, happy go lucky ball of fur with a mind of his own, stubborn when he wants to be yet extremely attentive when he's willing to learn. This is all true, as is his close connection and prided loyalty to his Clan and family. His best friend is his twin sister, Robinkit. He is often found either following her or leading her into another of their adventures. They take turns, neither one seems to be the leader more than the other. These two are close in more than appearance. Kestrelkit confines in her for anything, as well as the other way around.
However, Kestrelkit does have a life outside of his twin. He looks up to his father, though he doesn't understand his rejection of StarClan, he loves his mother like every kit should, and he adores his Clan. His bravery, and sometimes, stupidity, lets him be able to easily walk up to Havenstar, Nightstorm, or Giliapaw, and start a conversation. He loves to learn about others, and though he can sometimes be a chatterbox, he's a great listener.
This little bundle of energy also loves to explore. Creamwhisker is excellent most of the time at keeping him and Robinkit out of trouble, so when she is successful, the two are often found exploring every nook and cranny of HorizonClan's camp. However, when she's not so lucky, they might just find their way outside. This could end badly, much to Kestrelkit's dismay.
He can't wait to become an apprentice, learn the ways of his ancestors before him and be able to defend and protect his Clan. He doesn't care who he gets as a mentor, as long as he or she will cover everything needed, Kestrelkit will be content. He loves the thrill that battle sounds like it will be, and can't wait to get started learning that. Overall, all he wants is to learn, though it may not seem like it during his times of distraction.
His companion, Flint, is as close as him as Robinkit. The woodpecker helps him see the sense in a lot of things, as well as to calm down. Kestrelkit would have a pretty hard time without him, and likes to show it in little ways, like bragging about the bird's strengths and doing favors for him from time to time.
H i s t o r y:
Kestrelkit doesn't have much of a history yet, being a very young kit. His parents met and fell in love just as any HorizonClan cats would- except for the fact that Swiftpath doesn't believe in StarClan. That didn't seem to affect Creamwhisker, for nine moons later Kestrelkit and Robinkit arrived.
O v e r a l l:
Kestrelkit is an exuberant little kit with a mind to match his speed. His memory span isn't very long, but that doesn't stop him from having a great personality and spreading his kindness to everyone around him. He is eager and willing to learn, but, of course, with his sister Robinkit and companion Flint by his side. His pelt is a brown tabby, which helps him blend into the forest, and his eyes are a cool green.
