WHAT IF?
The biggest question in Marvel. What if M day had been different. what if Magneto and Xavier were on the same side? So many questions and very few answers. X-Men the End answers one of those questions, What if Genosha never fell. The Scarlet Witch's mental break down prevented but the cost? The death of her and her brother Pietro. XSE grew in numbers and power and became a global operation mutants slowly being accepted worldwide. It was becoming a utopia. And Xavier seeing his dreams of coexistence coming true had created a second school in Hammer Bay.
BUT......
Then The virus hit killing much of the mutant population. It took them years to find a cure and put a stop to the virus that had waged a war against them. In that time Cassandra Nova took over the Shi'ar. She waged a war like no others on the X-Men, The Shi'ar had allies, The War Skrulls who aided them in fighting for what they thought was what the Magestrix Lilandra wanted when in fact they were being played by the entity that had vowed long ago to get her revenge on the X-Men. Many of the Heroes died during the war but now their children have stepped up, taking over their parents mantel to fight for all that is good and right.
