No cats residing in NightClan were ever given Companions. Adderfang did not receive one when she died and traveled to OtherClan.

It may be my reluctance to talk about it that makes it into the much waited for mystery that it is, but that's no problem of mine. It is the fault of all the too-nosy for their own good cats out there. You're one of them, you say? Well, listen. I'm not going to tell you everything, but maybe it will be enough to satisfy your curiosity....
I was born in and will always be loyal to NightClan, the Clan of darkness, cunning and clever. I was raised how any other feline there would be, brought up to serve my home as best as I could. Many take on the foolish opinion that we are all evil, mindless fiends who think of nothing but killing and getting revenge. That, obviously, is not true.
My father was deputy of NightClan, and what a deputy he was. He was my role model, anything I did, I wanted his approval. He died like a true warrior, in battle, protecting his Clanmates. If I had lived longer, perhaps I would have been appointed the new deputy. Now, no one knows.
For some reason, after my death I did not make the journey to StarClan's hunting grounds. It is probably my own doing, everyone says I am much more ambitious than my family. It pains me that they are not here, but I've put that past me. All I can do now is serve my new Clan- and become the deputy I've always dreamed of being.

Sapphire has been with Darkshadow since their births. She is a beautiful, delicate Blue-Jay with a mind of her own. Not afraid to speak out, she will often voice her concerns along with Darkshadow's, many times against his will. He can never stay angry at her for long, however, because she is right most of the time.

Apprentice: After helping Dapplepaw, a former kittypet, become accepted into HorizonClan, he was appointed her mentor. She is his first, and he is determined to do as well as possible.
Friends: Sapphire is his closest, but he is also mostly comfortable around his apprentice, Dapplepaw, and two others, Raindust and Mountainfang.
[/size][/color] -----------------------------------[/font][/size] The story of my life is not a very exciting one. Sorry if this disappoints you. What, you still would like to hear it? Very well... but be prepared, I'm not much of a storyteller. Or a talker, really. But I'll make an effort. If you really want to know.
I was born here and will die here, forever faithful to HorizonClan. My mother, Nightwing, died while giving birth to me, I was told. It was rumored that my father, Talonclaw, died of grief soon afterward. No one knows exactly why, but I try not to brood on it.
So yes, you are correct, I grew up without my parents. The only motherly memories I have are of Silverheart, the queen who nursed and raised me until I became an apprentice. Sadly, she also died- and right after my ceremony.
Despite all this sadness, I really was not alone all my life. I probably act like it, the way I don't socialize with anyone, but that's just the way I am. However grumpy I may seem, I do love my Clan- every last one of them- and will always do my best to serve them to the fullest.
Loyalty knows no bounds...
