Nightstorm's companion is a Hummingbird named Avena. She is emerald green with a violet patch below the eye. Avena is a usually quiet bird, usually due to the fact that only those with sharp hearing can pick up what she says. She's usually found flitting around Nightstorm making a light humming noise.

Nightstorm is a lithe she-cat with a glossy black pelt. Her eyes are deep blue with a color that doesn't vary. Her eyes give off a pure feeling and show the kindness of Nightstorm. She has a kind of dainty walk with her slender paws.

Nightstorm is a kind and gentle cat, who's eyes display this characteristic. She is very relaxed and always friendly, even to those she hasn't met. She is trusting, but takes betrayal very harshly. Despite her kind personality she has been known to hold a grudge against a few cats. Nighstorm has an odd ritualistic way of checking each den, to make sure everything is fine, before retiring to her own den.

Having been born and raised in HorizonClan she grew up exploring the territory, along with the plants and animals thriving there. She has explored every trace of the territory and knows every nook and cranny of it. When something is out of place she is one of the first to notice.

She was born into a litter of three, her brother died and her sister abandoned the clan to live as a loner.

Nightstorm became a medicine cat when she was just 18 moons old after her mentor died of a sudden greencough outbreak.

Nightstorm is a glossy, solid black cat with kind blue eyes. She is 39 moons old and is very kind, even to those she has not met. However she can hold a grudge for a while. Her companion is a female Hummingbird named, Avena. She has an odd ritual of checking on the clan everyday before retiring to her nest for the night.

The slender black cat crept silently to the nursery and nosed her way in. She eyed each kit and queen carefully before pulling back out and stepping to the apprentice den. She gave all of them a look over and continued on to the Warriors. When she reached Havenstar's den, instead of nosing her way in she stood outside and listened for his breathing. Once she was confident that everything was peaceful and that all cat's were safe Nightstorm trotted into her own den.She smoothed a stray piece of moss dow, before slipping off into sleep.
